Holidays and Wedding

Hi Everyone,
Well the holidays are fast approaching and I've been working on some cards.  Also been working on a project for my son Robert's wedding in May.  First card is one I made using the Mojo Monday card sketch.
I used Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and the new Trim the Tree DSP.  Using the new Festival of Trees stamps, matching punch and glitter paper I think it turned out pretty good.

I used Real Red,Whisper White, Old Oliver and Pear Pizzazz inks and card stock for my second card.  I did some 2-step stamping with the new Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching framelit dies, added a greeting and I think it makes a simple and elegant Christmas card.  This card was CASED from Pinterest.

My next project is a little box I made for the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding in May.  I used the new Curvy Keepsake box die and white vellum.  I stamped using the Label Love set, and silver embossed 2 butterflies from the set Papillon Potpourri.  Added a bow and a little silver thread for bling.  I am planning on putting some candy coated almonds in the box for everyone.
All products I used are Stampin' Up!

Until later, happy stamping,

Fall

Here's another fall card I made using the new stamp set "Wondrous Wreath" and matching Framelits and "For All Things" stamp set in the SU Holiday Catalog.  I used the new In Colors - Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, and Blackberry Bliss.  I also used some of the new "Color Me Autumn" DSP.  Such beautiful fall colors.
I pulled out my Label Collection Framelets for the backing, made a little banner and put it all together for a lovely autumn card.  The Wondrous Wreath stamp set is truly a 2 step stamping experience.  If you've never tried 2 step stamping Stampin' Up! has made it simple.  This set is one of the new photopolymer sets.  They have put little tabs on the bottom of each stamp making for easy line up and taking the guess work out of it.   I'm looking forward to using this set for many beautiful holiday cards.

Until next time, happy stamping,

Welcome Fall

I'm so needing the fall weather to get to Florida.  The sad news is that fall weather really doesn't get to Pensacola until the last of October.  A body can dream, Right?????

Here's a card that I cased from Dianne Sisneros at Stamp With Bee .   Using the new In Colors, Whisper White cardstock, Autumn Accents Die, a little burlap ribbon, linen thread and the crimper.  Put it all together and you've got a lovely autumn card.

Until later, happy stamping,

Friendship Box

Here's a box I made using the Hamburger Die from SU.  I made this for a friend that was having surgery.  I put a box of mints in it because I know how dry your mouth can get after surgery.
I used some retired cardstock and designer paper from my stash.  I used the Spiral Flower die and made a rose, added a couple of leaves, a doilie and stamped a greeting.  I used some punches and put some gold bakers twine to finish it up.  So fun and easy to make.  A great idea for a little something for a friend.
Until later, happy stamping,

Playing With New Stamps

Hello Everyone!
The big brown truck came the other day and left me with a load of new product to play with.

I have enjoyed playing with most of it and wanted to share one of the cards I've made so far.  I used the new "Holiday Home" set and made a really cute Halloween card.  Just look at those little ghosts.  Aren't they the cutest.  I love the new photopolymer stamps.  You can see right where to stamp your image.  I stamped the trees, leaves and bats on the cardstock, then used the matching framelits & my Big Shot to cut the house out and hand cut the pumpkins and ghost.  Used a few dimensionals, retired DSP, made a little banner and put it all together and it's ready for giving to a grandchild!   It's never to early to get started on your holiday cards and projects.  Right?????????
Until later, happy stamping,
