Last Thanksgiving Post

This will be my last Thanksgiving post.  I made pie boxes and pilgram hats for my Thanksgiving table.  The ladies got the boxes and the guys got the hats.  I put candy in them plus hand sanitizer in the boxes for the ladies.  Everyone seemed to like them and the "candy".

Thanks to Connie Stewart over at Simply Simple Stamping  for the video of the pie box.  Connie has really great videos to share.  I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving.  I know we did and are enjoying the weekend with leftovers and football.  Now on to Christmas and all the decorating and fun.  Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.
Until later, happy stamping,

Thanksgiving Cards

I've been busy lately making cards for Thanksgiving.  Here is a bunch that I've gotten ready to go tomorrow.

I used the Stampin' Up! Thankful Tablescape kit, Expressions Thinlits Die, Tags 4 You stamp and punch set, Circle Flip Thinlit Die,  Six sided punch and the new Envelope Punch Board.  I had lots of fun and now I'm gearing up for my Christmas Cards.  Happy Thanksgiving to you.  God bless you during this holiday season.

Holiday Project

I made this tree using the Birch Paper Ribbon from the Thankful Tablescape kit in the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog.  I used the scalloped oval punch and straight pins to put together on a 14 inch styrofoam tree.  I then punched 2 gold glimmer paper stars and added to the top with a toothpick.  It took me about 2 hours to complete.  The hardest part was punching out the pieces.  The paper is very curly and hard to work with.  I had seen trees like this on Pinterest using regular designer paper and it made me think about using this paper.  Now I need to order another kit to have more paper on hand.  :)

Project Post

Wow! can you believe it's already the 16th of November?  Time is speeding away.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  I've been thinking about what to do with my Christmas decorating this year and I knew I wanted to make one of the curly wreaths that everyone is trying.  I used retired Stampin' Up! designer paper, ribbon and a snowflake die.  Really fun to make and beautiful to look at.
