Each year I make little Christmas gifts to give to the children at my church. I also have a few things to give the ladies in my Sunday School class and a few others that don't come to SS. This year I made Hot Chocolate Packs, Red and Green pouches holding a candy cane, little ornament boxes that hold 3 Hershey Nuggets and cute little snowman heads made using a tea light. I think that everyone will enjoy my Christmas Goodie Basket.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

My Shopping Is Done!
Oh how I love this time of year. The sights and sounds of Christmas fill the air and most people are in a good mood. I wanted to share this giftcard holder I made for the Granddaughters. I wanted to have 1 more gift under the tree so I decided to give them a little money to use for something they might need or want. I used the Top Note die, Real Red cardstock, Designer paper, Perfertly Preserved stamp set with matching Framelit Dies and Sweets for the Sweet stamp set using the 3/4 and 1 inch circle punches. Real Red ink, glue dots and dimensionals. I attached a giftcard inside using a glue dot.

Happy Thanksgiving
It's that time of year again when our country celebrates Thanksgiving. Do you only give thanks 1 time of year? I for one give thanks everyday for all that God has given and done for me and for all He has brought into my life good or bad. You know the bible says "Give thanks in all things". Not just the good but also the bad. I hope you have come to the place in your life where you can truly give thanks to God for all things.

Turkey Trot
Each year at school our Granddaughters walk in the Turkey Trot. We are invited to come and join the fun. For each lap that complete they receive a turkey feather. This year I was unable to go because I was sick, but Papaw went and joined in the fun. Here are pictures of the girls and Papaw.

Peace On Earth
Peace on Earth! Isn't that what we all want? I hope you like this card this morning. It's so sparkly and bright. I took the new Festival of Prints designer paper (126904) found in the Stampin' Up! holiday mini and cut 1/2 inch strips. Glued them to a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and then cut my shape out with the new Apothecary Accents (127003) and cut it out using my Big Shot (113439). I also used the Vintage Wallpaper embosing folder (120175) on Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The Peace on Earth image is from the Merry & Type stamp set (122552) found in the Stampin' Up! catalog. I used Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (122949) along with VersaMark ink (102283) to stamp the words and used the Heat Tool (129053) to set it. I cut that image out using the Apothecary Accents and mounted it on Gumball Green cardstock. Adding a little Cherry Cobbler seam binding (120992) and a couple of large pearls (125577)added just the touch to finish it off. After putting the card together I used the Stampin' Spritzer (126185)
with a mixture of Alcohol and Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (116806).

Recycle
Recycle is the big thing now and I'm trying to do my part when I can. Here is a mini album I made using empty toilet paper rolls.
I used mostly retired Stampin' Up! designer paper and ribbons.
Here I used some chipboard to add a little frame and a small piece of cardstock so you can journal.
Here you can see that in each toilet roll I added a small piece of designer paper that you can journal on. Each piece is tied with a ribbon on the end so you can pull it out. The square piece on the right is another piece of chipboard used as a frame.
On this page I used an earring from my Mother's jewelry box. She is gone now and I try to add a piece of her jewelry to my albums to show that she was a big part of my life and a way to share her love of beautiful things. The small piece of cardstock on the left is an accordion fold for more journaling. I hope you will try your hand at making something using recycled items. Have fun!

Fall Scarecrow
I just love this time of year. The weather is so nice. It's great to go outside and not burn up. I love leaving my windows up and feeling the cool breezes blowing. We've not been able to leave the windows open much yet, but a few days it's been really nice.
I wanted to share a cute fall treat holder I made today. I got the idea from Tammy White
I added the handle for easy gift giving. I plan on filling it with some candy and maybe a little lip gloss or fingernail polish. A little something for a special friend at church whose birthday is November 1st.

Halloween Vignette
A vignette (vin-yet) can be many different things. In the art world, the specific definition depends if you are referring to literature, photography, or stamps. However, it basically comes down to design orientation. Here is my Halloween Vignette. Most of it's been made using stamps, paper and other materials. My sweet granddaughters love putting it together and playing with the different pieces.
Here wishing you a Happy Halloween from GeeGee, Jordan, Emery and Leah.

Christmas Cards
Well it's that time of year when I begin to look for ideas for my Christmas cards that I want to make. There are so many great ideas and stamp sets I always have a problem picking just 1. So I make a lot of different cards. That way I get to use all my Christmas stamp sets, paper and dies. Most everyone on my list will get a one of a kind card. Here's a card I found at Keenan Kreations
The word CASE in stamping means "Copy And Share Everything". It's OK to copy a persons card if you give them credit. Sometimes I copy totally, sometimes I change it up. I always try to give credit. Sometimes I forget where I saw a project and if I do and it's yours please let me know so I can give credit.
I call it Rhinestone Christmas. I love the rhinestones and I added lots. I used the Perfect Pennants Bigz die for the tree shape, strips of DSP, small amount of ribbon and put it all together. It was fun and even my Granddaughter Jordan made one. If you are interested in ordering any of the products you see on my blog just go to my Stampin' Up! business website
I hope you find something that you like and would want to create to give to your family and friends this holiday season.

Stampin' Up! Clubs
I have the most wonderful girl friends that like to get together and stamp. They are always happy and in a great mood. We enjoy making projects together, but better yet, just being together. I've been stamping for over 10 years and have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator almost 5 years. I never intended to do anything but take advantage of the discount. But life changes and because I made the plunge I have made some really great friends. Ladies, I love each of you.Yesterday I shared 2 of the projects my ladies were making and I wanted to share the other one today. This card is a fun card that would be great to give to a family with small children. I used the Scentsational Season set and matching Framelits.
If you are interested in any of the products that you see on my blog you can go to my Stampin' Up! business website and place your order.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have been inspired to go and have some fun with friends and be creative.

Christmas Projects
I'm still fighting this cold and cough but it's much better than it was. I have felt like playing some in my stamping room and here are the projects that my Stampin' Up! clubs will make this weekend.
This first card is a "Fun Fold". I got the idea from Connie Stewart. Connie has a wonderful series going on right now called "Flash Cards". If you haven't visited Connie's site you should go. She has some really great ideas.
This card will fit a regular envelope and will stand up for display. A really great card to send.
The next card my ladies will be making is a simple yet beautiful card. There are so many stamp sets available and it's so hard to pick just a few. This card is using the Joyous Celebrations from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini.
The ladies will also be making another card using the new Scentsational Season stamp set and matching framelits dies. I'll share that card at a later date.
Next I want to share a little Hershey's Nugget holder I came up with. This would be easy and fast as a little gift for school mates, teachers or friends for a little something at Christmas. I used the new Apothecary Accents Framelits from the Stampin' Up! big catalog.
Just add 2 Hershey's Nugget and you have a cute, fun and quick gift.
Well that's all I have for you today. I hope you will have fun creating cards and gifts for your family and friends this Christmas season.
Until later, happy stamping.

I've been under the weather this past week. Cold, cough and all that goes with it. I haven't even felt like stamping. Hard to believe I know. I did some cutting of cardstock last Saturday morning and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I'll be back in the next couple of days to post projects for my upcoming Stampin' Up! club.

Snowman Tag
I've been working on my next club projects. "Box of Tags" Everyone needs gift tags for their Christmas gifts and I thought it would be fun to make a bunch of tags and a box to put them in. I've made about 10 so far and will pick the best of them for the project. This is one I made yesterday that took some time, so not sure if this one will make the cut. I used the Stampin' Up! Stylin' Snowfolk stamp set which has lots (and I mean "LOTS") of small pieces. It is a cute set and fun to use. Just not sure it's class worthy.

Scalloped Christmas
Have you discovered Pinterest? I have and I love it. Of course it's a place that's a time sucker. I find that it's easy to go to but very hard to leave. So beware! I found this Christmas tree project and just had to make one. I used scalloped circle dies to cut out all the pieces. I used Stampin' Up! designer paper mostly retired. After I put it together I sponged the edges with Early Espresso. It's much smaller than it looks, but you can make taller/bigger just by adding more scalloped circles. I used 7 circles of each size. Largest circle is about 4 1/4 inch and smallest is 1 1/4 inch. I also punched stars using the Stampin' Up! glitter paper. I found instructions here.

Watercolor Fall
I am so looking forward to Fall and cooler weather. When school starts and Saturday afternoons are full of college football I know that Fall is not far behind.
I made this card today using Stampin' Up! markers. I scribbled a little on a clear block and with a little spritz of water I stamped on watercolor paper. I then took the French Foliage stamp set and using the same markers, inked up the stamp, spritzed with a little water and stamped. It gave me such a pretty watercolor look. I then scalloped some Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and mounted it all on More Mustard. I also added 2 metallic brads and 1 of the new ribbon slides.
If you are interested in any of these products you can go to my Stampin' Up Website and click on products and it will take you to the online catalog where all the products in the project are available.

GheeGhee
I have often been asked the question "Where did GhheeGee come from"? To put it simply, my oldest Granddaughter Jordan started calling me GheeGhee when she was about 18 months old. I told my son that I thought she was saying GheeGhee and he said no, she is just making noises. She told him one night heading home from my house that she wanted to "go GheeGhee's house". That did it and I've been GheeGhee ever since. So now you know the whole story!

Christmas in August
Now that my Stampin' Up! monthly clubs are over I can share what the ladies made. We always have such a fun time together. The first card is a note card made using Whisper White card stock and one of the new Christmas designer papers "Be Of Good Cheer", "Scentsational Seasons" stamp set and a new Framelits die called "Window Frames". We also used the new Paper-Piercing pack to add texture to the window frame.
The second card is using a new stamp set called "Evergreen". Sahara Sand and Midnight Muse ink, ribbon and card stock were used and we added a little bling with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.
I hope you have enjoyed looks at these projects. If you are interested in buying any of the products shown you can go to my Stampin' Up! Website and buy online.

Where Has The Week Gone?
This week has been a busy one. Family here and gone, my birthday to celebrate and Stampin' Up! goodies to unpack, bag and get ready to deliver. In between all of that I made my August Thank you cards for my customers and played with some new Stampin' Up! goodies I got for myself. It has been like Christmas around here. Here is a look at the card I made for my ladies. I got this idea from Robin Feicht over at Stamping Country

My Birthday
Today is my 60th birthday. I can remember when I thought 60 was really old and that anyone that old was real close to the grave. Well I'm here to tell you that even if my body feels 60, my mind is young and well. I got some beautiful cards from stamping friends today. They are all so creative. Thank you ladies.

Freshly Made
Today I wanted to make a card using a sketch, so I went to my files and found Freshly Made Sketches #4. This is what I came up with.
I used Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White. I love tags of all kind so when I saw this sketch with a tag I knew I would enjoy making it. The Designer Paper is SU Floral District. I used a little lace ribbon and a pearl for the bird's eye and the center of the flower. The stamp sets are Betsy's Blossoms and Teeny Tiny Wishes. All products are Stampin' Up!

Perfectly Preserved
We love to garden and enjoy the harvest God gives us each year. We had a great crop of potatoes, tomatoes, and greenbeans this year. When Stampin' Up! came up with this stamp set I fell in love with it and knew I would buy it.
The stamps and the Sizzlits die go together perfectly to make cute projects. All stamps, dies and designer series paper come from the new Holiday Mini Catalog which goes live August 1st.

Christmas In July
July is an exciting time if you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Our new Holiday mini catalog is here and we are able to pre-order products and get ready for our workshops that will take place in August. The new catalog goes live August 1st. I have always loved Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke and this was a great time to uses these colors together. The stamp set is "Evergreen"and Stampin' Around wheel "Music Notes". It's hard to tell here but the stamps are trees, star, and the words to Silent Night. I also used Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon, a rhinestone and Frost White spray mist to add some bling.
