Meet Rooster Cogburn
Meet Rooster Cogburn our Black Jersey Giant.
He's a magnificent male. He seems to know it too. When I go down to take pictures he poses. He's very easy going. He has shown no temper at all with the children, but he watches his ladies like a hawk.
Until later,

Favor Boxes for Rehearsal Dinner
I made favor boxes for our son's wedding rehearsal. I used the Curvy Keepsake box die. I put 3 Hersery Nuggets in each for a little goodie for everyone to take home. I got the idea for these on Pinterest.
Until next time, happy stamping.

Easter in Pensacola
Hi Everyone, It's been awhile since I last posted. I wanted to share the little Easter goodie boxes I made for the Grandchildren.
I used the Fry Box die to cut out the little boxes. I used the Neutrals DSP in different colors. I used the circle and oval punches to make the ears, eyes, cheeks, nose and little strips of whisper white cs for the wiskers. I filled them with little gums and chocolate eggs. They were a hit with the children and easy to make.

Found Some Old Work
I was cleaning out my stamping closet this morning and I found some old watercolor prints I did several years ago. I forgot how much fun this was. I might need to get my supplies together and do a little bit. I stamped the image on watercolor paper and using a Aqua Painter and Stampin' Up! inks I made the images come alive. Our son is getting married in May so I will be redecorating his old room. I'm thinking of doing a beach motif so I plan on having these prints framed together to hang on the wall.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year - Late. It's been a rough start to the new year around here. Flu came to visit and the lingering traces are still hanging around. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel and we are all feeling much better. :) Last night I felt like playing with the new Mini Treat Bag die from Stampin' Up! I made a birthday card for someone special on February 2nd.
I used some of the Sale-A-bration DSP and made the bag like the envelope and then slid a piece of cardstock in for the greeting. I added some ribbon to pull it out with and decorated the front with other parts of the die. The Happy Birthday greeting is from the new set "Butterfly Basics", the inside greeting is from the set "Perfect Pennants", and the inside dot image is from the new Sale-a-bration set "Best Day Ever". All of this will fit in a regular envelope for mailing.
